Providing design leadership and consultancy to a large federal agency, and guiding key projects through the design process to deliver sophisticated digital products and platforms to the Australian community that met business needs, improved processes, considered architecture and integration issues, industry trends, IT strategy & standards. This included communicating complex design concepts with concise tailored messages to a varied stakeholder group to obtain support and agreement, championing the value of user-centered design, always being proactive in delivering beyond what was expected to push for the best UI solutions, leading and encouraging knowledge transfer activities, and initiating and developing individual and team capability.
